Last Friday, my friends and I found out that we won the best film at the St. Louis 48 Hour Film Project. For those of you who are not familiar, this is an annual film contest where on a Friday, filmmakers are given a character, line of dialog, prop, and genre and by Sunday, they must turn in a four to seven minute long film.
This year, the character was M. Marso the dance instructor, the line of dialog was "If you do that again, I'll scream," and the prop was a flotation device. My team's genre was superhero. We decided to do a stop-motion animation, thinking (very incorrectly) that it would somehow be easier than filming a live action movie. Depite the fact that our assumptions were proven so wrong, we won, and in March, we're off to California to compete on the international level. We're all very excited now that we've finally caught up on sleep.
Without any further ado, I give you Marvelous Marso & the Case of the Climbing Cats.
P.S.: If anyone knows how to make that link open in a specific size of window, I'd really appreciate the information. Thanks!
