Last weekend was the springtime Portland Blythe meet. I always have a wonderful time at these meets, but this past one was just exceptional. Maggie & Monica found the most delightful venue, the Doll House Tea Room, in Milwaukie, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It's an adorable tea house full of dolls, where they serve delectable goodies, and they even have a room full of dress-up clothes (for both girls and women) if you're so inclined.
We had such a great time being silly. There's nothing quite like the excuse of "collectibles" to allow grownups to play with toys. Julie even brought (and made use of) her ReMent teacups.
Maggie used to work as a florist, and she made her own hydrangea headdress.
I think I need a mirror like this in my house.
Pinwheel hat in action!
And here's the gang all together! From left to right: Julie (not pictured, since she's the one taking the photo), Jehu, me, Monica, Maggie, Heidi, Kyle, & Rachel.
Thanks for a lovely day, ladies!
