I dug out my watercolors for the first time in a little while to work on my printable seed packets. I really love working on such a tiny scale, but I think I need to get a few even tinier brushes.
I took a mini-vacation over the last weekend to visit my best friend in Seattle, and we decided to go on an eight-mile hike to Lake Serene. It has been months since my last hike, so this was a little rough for me, but it was worth every step.
I met an entire pile of black kittens (and one stripey kitten), all wearing bowties, at Crafty Wonderland. It took every ounce of resolve not to take them all home with my, but Lydia hasn't quite forgiven me yet for bringing a bunny into the house and needs a little more time before I get a kitten (or seven).
This is an entire workshop dedicated to teaching the public how to make dollhouses. Unfortunately, the owner is retiring and closing up shop. Her storefront was lovely and inspiring, though.
Birthday alpaca kisses for Maggie! We took a trip out to Hood River for Maggie's birthday to see the sights and sample the hard cider. Mostly, the trip was for the hard cider...
I'm hoping for an even more exciting Instagram recap next month, since Tony and I are headed to Liverpool next week for a family wedding. I spent a year in Europe when I was a teenager, but I never had a chance to visit England (other than a very long layover in London, but I wasn't allowed the airport to leave due to customs restrictions), so I'm really excited to see something new. Any suggestions from readers across the pond?
